Chief Seattle Memorial
Chief Seattle (Si’ahl) was a respected leader of the Duwamish and Suquamish peoples, known for his wisdom, leadership, and enduring legacy in the Pacific Northwest. His life and words continue to shape the region’s history and identity. It was a profound honor for our team to carefully clean and preserve his headstone, approaching the work with deep respect and gratitude for the legacy he left behind. Participating in this project allowed us to honor not only Chief Seattle himself, but also the history, culture, and people he represents.
